Since Beader Girl (aka Mom) was posting about her beautiful backyard (boy do I miss that pool!), I thought I’d post a little picture of my own. Some of her commenters were asking about her clematis. Well here’s mine!
The blooms look completely different from hers so at first when she was visiting she didn’t know what this was. But a friend of mine confirmed it … this is a clematis too. Isn’t it stunning?
I am so enjoying what is popping up in our yard this first spring and summer in our house. It’s so exciting!

No, haven’t done anything! It’s probably just happy to live near the outdoor water tap…gets a bit more of a drink now and then. 🙂

Gorgeous clematis. We moved into our house in December when the garden looked like a barren wilderness. I remember being so excited watching the shoots of all the bulbs coming up then identifying all the shrubs in summer.
