Fisherman’s Wharf walk

I went for a walk along the downtown harbour the other day, starting my journey at Fisherman’s Wharf and working my way toward the Inner Harbour. It was a lovely crisp fall day, and I was struck by the sight of the float homes standing at attention in the water:

The boats bobbed at a standstill – it would have been a beautiful day for a sail:

The Coho car and passenger ferry (which goes to Port Angeles, Washington) came gliding into view:

And I stopped to snap a picture of the stroller (yes, Chelsea was inside) with the Inner Harbour and The Fairmont Empress in the background:

And again, in front of the Legislature. Note the Remembrance Day wreaths lying all around the cenotaph, beautiful in their purple ribbons:

Ah, Victoria, you are beautiful!
