Enjoying the colours

I’m taking a bit of a breather this week, having travelled to Ontario to visit family and – on the side – enjoy some of the fall colours. If you’ve never been to Southwestern Ontario in the fall then I would recommend it. The weather’s fine, the leaves are turning beautiful hues of red and orange and life is good.

Things seem to have been busy in our household lately, what with some home renovations turning our place upside down and hubby participating in a very large non-profit fundraising event … I’ll be glad to see the end of October arrive when things can get back to normal. Not that I’m wishing away a month’s worth of ‘stuff’! I love Thanksgiving and we celebrate the Canadian version of that a week from Sunday.

Bring on the turkey and stuffing! Mmm good…

  1. Leaves are turning into fiery colors here, too. Breathtaking. The weather’s been so great around here too. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
