Wow, what fun!

Just thought I’d give an update on how the class on blogging that I taught went yesterday. I had a blast! I had five attentive attendees that were all interested in learning how to blog for different reasons. The class was four hours long which did include a break, but the time whipped by incredibly fast.

I hope there are more Victorians that want to take a blogging class in the future, because I so enjoyed teaching this one and can’t wait to do it again!

  1. Too bad there wasn’t a blogging class here. Someone emailed me something and along with the signature, was a blog site. I clicked on the hyperlink and read some things on the blog and thought, cool, I want to try this. I still have a lot to learn. Like how do they insert a YouTube into the blog? Is it copyrighted? Do you get into trouble for that? I worry about using pictures. I try to say where the pictures come from.BTW, how many people can say they love their job? šŸ™‚

  2. Hi Shari – nice to see you here again. I’ve only inserted one You Tube video (I don’t tend to check that site very often unless someone points me to something), but here’s how to put one into a blog if you’d like. When you see a video on YT that you’d like to put in your blog, you’ll notice a box to the right hand side of the video that has these things in it: category, tags, URL and Embed. You want to copy the HTML that is in the Embed box and paste it into a new blog post (while you’re sitting on the Edit HTML tab, not the Compose tab). That should do it! Have fun!
